The Top Museums and Attractions to Visit in Little Rock

Did you just moved to Little Rock? Is your information of our great city fairly inadequate? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Little Rock, AR has a number of museums and other destinations where you can dig into our history, culture, and a whole bunch of other fun things that helped make our city a great place to live. Here at A-1 Freeman Moving Group, we’ve been helping people move to and within Little Rock for a long time, and this has allowed us to become very knowledgeable on some of the coolest and most entertaining exhibits.

After you get yourself accustomed to your new routine, you have to take some time to check out the following museums and exhibits:

  • Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center – Interested in finding out more about your new environment? Then the Nature Center is the perfect place for you and your family. You can learn about all the plants and animal life that make up the Little Rock area, and get a close up look at what makes our little corner of the world unique in its own right.
  • Old State House Museum – If you’d like something to do for an afternoon, then there’s no better place to head than the Old State House Museum. With free entry (donations are appreciated), you can come in and check out some authentic house exhibits and learn about the history of the great state of Arkansas at the same time.
  • Historic Arkansas Museum – A guided tour through historic period buildings awaits you here at the Historic Arkansas Museum. You and your guests will get to see how life was back in the olden days, with plenty of exhibits showcasing household items, tools, photos, and other amazing things. It even includes the oldest building in Little Rock which was built in 1827!


After taking a few hours touring these places, you’ll have a much deeper appreciation for Little Rock. You’ll be a lot more acclimated to the city, and you’ll have a better connection to the rich history that has created our wonderful home.
